Lonestar Asset Management, LLC provides qualified accredited investors* direct investment opportunities in the profitable oil and gas industry. We currently have several different projects in the development phase located in Southeast Texas and Central Oklahoma. Each of these projects are focused solely on locating and extracting oil and natural gas. Joint venture partners are sought for various oil and gas projects with designated wells (usually a defined number consisting of two wells) assigned to particular joint ventures.

Management

We serve as the Managing Venturer for each joint venture, with a focus on the exploration, development, and acquisition of domestic oil and gas reserves. Our #1 goal is to successfully complete each and every well we drill.

We offer a turnkey operational structure with working interest positions in new oil and gas drilling ventures to qualified participants. Each joint venturer will receive full tax benefits; which, of course, is just one of the benefits of partnering with us.

Our Duties

LoneStar is responsible for managing each venture and will handle all of the following duties:

  • Identifying a prospective area utilizing subsurface geology, well control, and 2D or 3D Seismic technology.
  • Acquiring the mineral leases.
  • Obtaining funding.
  • Completing each well (requires joint venture partner approval).
  • Operating and drilling each well.
  • Handling the day to day operations.
  • Selling the extracted oil and gas.
  • Sending out monthly revenue checks to our joint venture partners.
  • Handling all the tax preparation relating to each venture.
  • Providing tax info to joint venture partners along with daily drilling reports, permits, maps and related geology, production, revenue, expense statements, survey plats, well test reports, etc., relating to each well.

In the rare case a joint venture hits a dry well, investors can recuperate their investment in a 100% total write off in losses.  Categorized as alternative Investments, oil and gas investments are less vulnerable to economic downturns as compared to stocks and bonds.

Oil and gas drives global economies, and with no better alternatives in sight, the demand is expected to grow exponentially in the years to come. Global oil consumption in 2010 stood at 87 million barrels per day, and that number is expected to reach 119 million barrels per day by 2040. Oil and gas investments, therefore, provide investors with the ability to realize long-term and relatively stable returns on their investments in producing wells.
